VESTAMID® Promotes CO2Reduction

"Utilizing Green Energy for PA12 Production"

The electricity used in the production of polyamide 12 (e.g., VESTAMID®) is supplied from renewable energy sources.
Specifically, we aim to create environmentally friendly products by using renewable energy such as wind power and solar power generation to cover the electricity required for the production of PA12.
This initiative is expected to contribute to the protection of the environment by reducing carbon dioxide emissions compared to conventional electricity that uses fossil fuels.

These carbon emissions refer to the manufacturing process of the base polymer. While additional energy from logistics and compounding processes will be added to the final product for sale, we believe that the reduction achieved in the base polymer stage, which accounts for the majority of emissions, will have a significant impact.
Vestamid® eCO can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 70% by utilizing renewable energy, bio-circular resources, or biomass materials as fuel in the manufacturing process.
