SEPURAN® Green: Membrane for Biogas

SEPURAN® Green: efficient biogas upgrading with membrane to purify biomethane and CO2

SEPURAN® Green is a hollow fiber membrane made from Evonik's unique polymer material and is well suitable for separating carbon dioxide and methane gas.

Description of use Biogas is produced through fermentation and anerobic digestion of organic waste and typically contains about CH4 55~65%, CO2 30~45% and trace gases such as hydrogen sulfide (H2S). It is an attracted energy resource as renewable natural gas. With its high selectivity and capacity, SEPURAN® Green can do efficient biogas upgrading to separate both methane and carbon dioxide into product gases. Therefore, it has greater economic advantage than other separation technologies and is widely adopted.

SEPURAN® NG: Membrane for natural gas (CO2 separation)

SEPURAN® NG is a membrane for efficient CO2 separation in natural gas fields.

SEPURAN® NG is an especially robust, hollow fiber membrane made from Evonik's own polymer material, which has high separation performance and permeability. This enables particularly selective separation of the sour gases from the natural gas, high tolerance of the higher hydrocarbons contained in the natural gas, and consistently high performance of the membrane throughout its lifetime.
