Polyamide12 Elastomers of K&K grade(Good bonding with TPU): heat and UV stabilized

The K&K process is a bonding technology developed by Evonik, where the chemical reaction at the interface of nylon and TPU is used, with the molecular structure of nylon modified. The K&K technology is used primarily in the auto industry to bond plastic and rubber parts. Evonik’s proprietary technology makes it easy to bond rubber parts as well as urethane parts together, even with fine patterns on the surface, which makes bonding difficult. It’s also compatible with mass production. Without the use of adhesives, moreover, it eliminates conventional processes such as degreasing, coating and drying, without using or releasing organic solvents (environmentally friendly). It’s a promising technology with a wide range of potential applications.
