Quick connectors are components used to connect lines for fuel distribution, cooling systems, and other applications in automotive vehicles.

Quick Connectors for Laser Welding

VESTAMID^® L-GF30 black E70285 grade, which is PA12 used in this connector is black in color but has high transparency in a specific wavelength range of lasers, allowing for laser welding.

Fuel Lines

Fuel tubes are used to supply gasoline from the fuel tank to the engine. There are multiple lines between the fuel tank and the engine, including liquid lines for liquids and vapor lines for gases. While metal tubes are commonly used for fuel lines, the use of single or multi-layer plastic tubes has increased for lightweight automotive parts. PA12 (polyamide 12) and PA612 (polyamide 612) are commonly used due to their low specific gravity and flexibility, allowing for lightweight and easy handling.

Cooling Lines for Electric Vehicles (EVs)

Evonik's PA12 (Polyamide 12) and PA612 (Polyamide 612) have excellent hydrolysis resistance and are used in cooling lines as single or multi-layered structures, known as Multi Layer Tubes.

Cooling Lines for Electric Vehicles

Cooling lines for engine vehicles is used in various lines such as engine cooling lines, heat exchanger inlet and outlet lines, expansion tank vent lines to radiators, and radiator cooling lines. Conventionally, metals and rubbers have been used for these lines, but in recent years, there has been a shift towards plastics for weight reduction.
